Calculation Methods & Sources
MoneroCalc provides educational estimates from your inputs. Each calculator explains its assumptions and outputs. Results do not establish tax, loan or benefit eligibility and are not personalized financial advice.
Country and rule snapshots
Thirteen calculator groups have distinct country engines. Other tools use shared formulas and may retain US assumptions even when the currency changes. Check the displayed method note.
US and Canadian tax estimates use 2026 snapshots; UK estimates use 2026–27. Australian income tax and Medicare estimates use a historical 2024–25 snapshot. Australian retirement assumptions are separately labeled 2026–27. Future projections hold stated assumptions constant and do not forecast future law.

Limits and corrections
Some models omit personal credits, means tests, lender conditions or fees. Use official statements and lender quotes for personal entitlements and costs. A source link does not imply the model implements every rule on that page.
Maintenance happens through versioned source changes and a built release. Rule updates require checking the applicable source and calculation assumptions. No professional certification or independent expert review is claimed.
To report an error, contact MoneroCalc with the calculator name, country, rule year and an example. Avoid sending private account or financial information.
